IPextreme CEO Warren Savage to Participate on IP Panel at Globalpress Electronics Summit 2006
CAMPBELL, CA, February 23, 2006 – IPextreme Inc, a supplier of trusted on-chip subsystems today announced Warren Savage will participate in the Globalpress Electronics Summit 2006 panel titled, “Intellectual Property: Hype or Hope?” Besides founding an innovative IP business model, Warren Savage is a well-known and published authority in the field of semiconductor intellectual property through his extensive involvement with heading the Synopsys DesignWare (IP) engineering group, running the Synopsys Star IP Program and contributing to the Reuse Methodology Manual (RMM) - the leading book on Intellectual Property design — with his introduction of many IP design practices and quality measures.
The panel discussion will focus on the some of the challenges customers have faced integrating Intellectual Property (IP) into their environments. Of paramount concern are the quality and reliability of available products. Questions such as: “What is being done to improve the quality, reliability, trustworthiness, and integration process for expensive IP? What are the biggest areas for growth for the IP market -- if any? Is there still time for IP startups, or has the IP market matured to the point where only the biggest companies will be successful?” will be addressed by this distinguished panel.
